Sunbury, Ohio: Game Creek’s Edit 2 B unit made a surprise debut at the 2015 World Series. Fox Sports’ broadcast was interrupted due to a power failure and Game Creek’s Edit 2 B came to the rescue. This kept the game on the air while Fox worked on their systems.

Before it was suddenly in the spotlight, Game Creek’s Edit 2 B was supposed to follow Edit 1. Game Creek’s Edit 1 had become popular and successful among the sports broadcast community. It boasts six workspaces plus areas for storage and maintenance. Edit 2 has larger workspaces because the storage and maintenance areas were eliminated.

Edit 2 has eight pods to create a flexible workspace, which is one of the biggest differences between Edit 1 and Edit 2. The new design is a result of Game Creek’s working with Gerling and Associates. Together, they designed a double-expand trailer that measures 53 feet long. Icon Broadcast worked with the project on the interior for wiring and integration. VP of Game Creek Engineering, Paul Bonar, oversaw the design of the truck and how the interior was laid out. With just a few minor modifications, Edit 2 would be able to handle Remi, or remote integration broadcasts.
