Wareham, Massachusetts: HOSTAR Marine unveiled its newest YardStar, a 15-ton self-propelled boat trailer, at the 2014 Miami International Boat Show. This self-propelled boat trailer comes with an industrial diesel engine complete with full instrumentation and front hydrostatic drive motor with brake. The stand-up operator’s platform is equipped with forward/reverse and left/right steering along with manual hydraulic controls. Four hydraulic arms are extendable to handle up to a 6-foot draft sailboat. Proper keel support is provided for powerboats and sailboats with reinforced aluminum cross beams and sailboat straps. Additional features are also available, such as optional air-cushioned solid tires, submersible package for ramp use, biodegradable hydraulic oil, on-board video camera and monitor for better visibility while loading.
