Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, announces the enhancement of a third daily frequency from Delhi to Kathmandu with the introduction of a third daily Boeing 737 flight, effective May 23rd, 2014.
The new Jet Airways morning service, flight 9W 260 will depart Delhi daily at 1200 hrs and arrive in Kathmandu at 1400 hrs (Local Time). On the return, flight 9W 259 will depart Kathmandu at 1500 hrs (LT) and arrive in Delhi at 1630 hrs (LT), providing onward connection on the airline’s network. The additional flight will complement the daily flights being operated between these two destinations by Jet Airways.
Jet Airways presently operates two daily flights each out of Delhi and Mumbai. With the introduction of a third daily frequency from the capital, the airline will operate five daily flights to Kathmandu from India, the only Indian carrier to do so.
The airline, known for its young fleet, will deploy a Boeing 737-800/900 Next Generation (NG) aircraft on this route, offering Premiere and Economy guests Jet Airways’ famed in-flight service and its award-winning In-flight Entertainment (IFE) programme.
