Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, today announced that it will be enhancing domestic connectivity with fresh air links to Vijayawada and Trichy in the South. The airline, today, announced the introduction of daily flights between Bengaluru and Vijayawada, and two additional services a day to Mangalore and an afternoon service to Trichy (Tiruchirapalli) via Kochi six days a week with effect from July 25, 2013.
With the introduction of these flights, Jet Airways offers five flights a day between Bengaluru and Mangalore and three flights a day to Kochi, the only carrier to do so.
Jet Airways will deploy the ATR 72-500 aircraft on these routes and operate an early morning flight to Vijayawada and two additional services to Mangalore. The airline will also link Bengaluru with Kochi, and onwards to Trichy (Tiruchirapalli) with the 62-seater aircraft. Jet Airways flight 9W 2461 will depart Bengaluru daily at 0610 hrs and arrive at the commercial city of Vijayawada at 0745 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 2462 will depart at 0815 hrs and arrive Bengaluru at 0950 hrs.
Mangalore will be linked with additional services twice daily with Bengaluru. While flight 9W 2463/2464 will operate six days a week (except Tuesdays) every morning, the flight 9W 2649/2650 whereas 9W 2649 will depart daily from Bengaluru at 2100 hrs and arrive Mangalore at 2205 hrs and the return flight 9W 2650 will depart at 2235 hrs and arrive Bengaluru at 2340 hrs.enable guests to return the same day. Flight 9W 2463 will depart at1020 hrs (except Tuesday) and arrive in the port city of Mangalore at 1125 hrs. On the return leg, 9W 2464 will depart at 1155hrs and arrive Bengaluru at 1300 hrs.
Jet Airways flight 9W 2645 will depart Bengaluru (except Tuesdays) at 1350hrs and arrive Kochi at 1520 hrs; depart at 1520 hrs and arrive Trichy at 1650hrs. On the return leg, Flight 9W 2646 will depart Trichy at 1720 hrs and arrive Kochi at 1820 hrs. The flight will depart Kochi at 1850 hrs and arrive Bengaluru at 2020 hrs. On Tuesdays flight 9W 2645 will depart Bengaluru for Kochi at 1550 hrs arrive Kochi at 1720 hrs, depart at 1750 hrs and arrive Bengaluru at 1920 hrs.
Jet Airways presently operates three services a day on this sector.
