Kesher, the preeminent Jewish Day School in South Florida for students with with developmental delays and learning disabilities, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its 21st Annual Scholarship Luncheon on November 29, 2017. The event raises scholarship funds for current and future Kesher students.

This year’s event promises to be entertaining and thought-provoking, featuring keynote speaker Benjamin J. Genet, author of “Born Jumping.” The luncheon will also honor Jeri Becker, who has been an integral part of Kesher since she joined the school in 2000. Becker served as the Early Childhood/Intervention Principal before being named the Elementary School Principal and has made invaluable contributions to Kesher during her tenure.

Written for ADHD students and emerging entrepreneurs, “Born Jumping” is meant to be a road map for those looking to live a successful and purposeful life. Genet spends much of his time giving back to the Jewish community, serving on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and as the Champion of the Ethiopian Israeli Education Supplemental Fund. This fund was created in memory of his father, Martin Genet. Since its inception in 2007, 30 university scholarships have been granted to Ethiopian Israelis.

For more information on Kesher or to RSVP for the luncheon, visit Kesher or call (305) 792-7060.
