Michigan Industrial Shoe is pleased to announce they now carry KEENs new American-built safety footwear, a product they had a hand in designing. The goal in creating these shoes was to provide a quality safety shoe that appealed to a younger audience.
The new safety shoes were created in Portland, Oregon, using a state-of-the-art Desmond direct injection machine that uses pressurized heat to join the top and sole of the shoes. The shoes feature oil- and slip-resistant soles that won’t mark floors, offer electrical hazard protection and utilize comfort technology. Michigan Industrial Shoe President, Michael Girolami, states, “This is by far the most unique and functional safety footwear ever produced in America.”
Michigan Industrial Shoe now carries two versions of this shoe: Braddock Mid and Braddock Low. The Braddock Mid features the KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane for use in any weather. The Braddock Low is a steel-toed hiker with waterproof nubuck leather. Dan Wolfe, one of the initial wearers of this shoe, said, “The fit is the best I’ve ever had in a hiker and the dual-density sole makes the comfort last all day”. Both shoes also feature Metatomical footbed for better arch support.
In addition to the KEEN safety shoes, Michigan Industrial Shoe carries a vast selection of other footwear designed for industrial situations.
