Elmwood Park, Illinois, June 26, 2015: Peace of Mind Dog Training and Pet Care is pleased to announce they help coordinate a number of events geared toward pets and their owners. Their pet therapy event was one of their first events. They take great pride in training therapy pets, which can be a valuable tool in helping patients heal from illness and injury, as well as in reaching autistic children.
There are several events that are coming up over the course of the year. The next event will be the pet blessing. This animal blessing is designed to provide pet owners with a sense of peace for their pet. Many people seek blessings on their children. This event is designed to provide the same service to pet owners who love their pets as though they were their own children.
In addition to the pet blessing, Peace of Mind Dog Training and Pet Care also holds a pet memorial service for pet owners who have lost a beloved pet. During this ceremony, a custom prayer is read for each pet. They also provide support groups for those who feel the need to talk about their loss with someone else who cares.
The organization also holds several drives each year. The Christmas gift drive invites congregants to donate supplies, including toys, blankets, food and more, to animals living at the Animal Care League in Oak Park. They also collect supplies for chimpanzees, such as granola bars, toys and Halloween masks.
