    Second City is pleased to announce they offer comedy training opportunities for those who are interested in getting involved in this area.

    Chicago, Illinois: Second City is pleased to announce they offer comedy training opportunities for those who are interested in getting involved in this area. While applications for the Comedy Studies Program are now closed for this year, they are expected to open again in the fall for the Spring 2017 sessions.

    During the Comedy Studies Program offered by Second City, interested individuals will be able to work with other students in the class to learn the commonly used techniques in the comedy industry and then put them into practice. They will work with a variety of individuals so they can get used to a number of styles to enhance their abilities. These programs are offered throughout the year. When applications for the next spring session become available, they will be due by October 5, 2016.

    In addition to providing training for budding comedians, Second City also runs a variety of comedy shows that can be seen throughout the Chicago area, as well as in several surrounding areas and their other two locations in Toronto and Hollywood. These shows change on a regular basis and consist of stand-up comedy, improv and other comedy styles.
