Deerfield, Illinois, November 18, 2015: Starland is pleased to announce their students will be performing in 2 events for the entire community of Deerfield. Starland Theatre students will perform acapella holiday songs at the 2015 Tree Lighting Ceremony. This celebration will take place on November 25th at 4 p.m. at Deerfield Village Centre Plaza. On December 4th Starland Dancers will perform inside the Deerfield Village Hall lobby at 6:00 p.m. for the 2015 Winter Celebration. Both events are open to the entire community.
Starland offers classes in a variety of disciplines to provide children of all ages with an opportunity to enrich their lives through creative and performing arts. Some of the classes they offer include dance, theatre, cooking, music, engineering and more. They also offer parent/tot classes, camps and academic enrichment for children.
As part of giving back to the community they serve, the students at Starland have been asked to perform at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Celebration in downtown Deerfield. Not only will attendees at these events be treated to a special performances by the students, but additional holiday entertainment and refreshments will also be available. These events, which have become a community tradition, will take place in Deerfield to celebrate the holiday season.
